Liberty In Our Country

There are many different forms of freedom. One definition of freedom is, not being under another's control; power to do, say, or think as one pleases. To me, sometimes school is not a form of freedom. We"re under the teacher's control for a while, but in another way, it is a form of freedom. Most of the time we get classes that we want to take, and that's a privilege for us. We should appreciate the freedoms we have.
I think freedom is a very important thing in our lives today. If we did not have freedom in our country, we would be very strict. For example, in Afghanistan, if a woman were to show her feet, she would be stoned (rocks .
thrown at her.) Since this is a free country, we can walk around with shoes, sandals, or even bare foot if we wanted, and we could do that without getting into trouble.
Our freedom in America gives us the opportunity to become whatever it is that we want. If someone wanted to be a truck driver, they would have to go to truck driving school, and get their Class A driver's license. We have the right to choose what we want our occupation to be. In some other countries, they are told what their job is. They don't have the right to become a doctor or a veterinarian if they wanted.
I don't think that true freedom is really possible because if you really think about it, no matter how perfect the case may be, there is always something that's preventing you from having complete freedom. Imagine that you were on a desert island where there was unlimited drinking water, a garden with fruit and vegetables that were always ready to be eaten, and it didn't get cold enough for you to have to build a winter house. Now that sounds like true freedom right? Wrong. The main thing that's keeping it from being true freedom is the fact that you"re on a desert island. See, no matter the case, there is always going to be something to prevent you from having true freedom.
