Eczema

Eczema is usually dry and itchy so the most common treatment is to apply lotions or creams to keep the skin as moist and possible. These treatments are really most effective when applied directly after you get out of the shower or after you clean yourself because your pore are all open and the moisture will stay in. If you put cold things on the irritated part it will relieve the itching. If the condition get worse or doesn't improve in anyway you can put nonprescription creams on to reduce the irritation. Skin that is affected with eczema is easyer to get infected. If it happens u must go to your doctor right away and u will get pills to kill the bacteria that's causing the infection. Other ways you can avoid getting eczema is to moisturize frequently, avoid sudden changes in temperature or humidity, avoid sweating or overheating, reduce stress, avoid scratchy materials against your skin, avoid harsh soaps and detergents, Avoid things that trigger allergies like pollen, molds and mites, and be aware of foods that can cause a regular outbreak in your skin and try to avoid eating them.              The recovery rate on eczema is very high. You cant die from this disease unless u don't treat it and do absolutely nothing to help it and just make it eat away at your body and make it spread all over. .
That can lead to more complications and probably lead to death. It depends on how big the case of irritation to see how long it takes to heal. If the case is normal and nothing to serious and you use the right medication it can go away in a few weeks. Depending if its bigger or smaller it can take longer or a short period of time. It doesn't completely leave your body. There is always the trace of it still in you but the breakouts won't be shown and your skin wont be irritated.
Eczema occurs in both children and adults.
