From Mythology to Reality

Therefore, we just have partial rain seasons, the seas are getting warmer, and because of the water's contamination, people are getting sick. Winter has fallen into lethargy these last few years affecting crops and human diseases. To stop the grievance of our Mother Earth some organizations are fighting against contamination, creating recycle programs, and trying to develop in our kids a conscience of how important creatures on our planet are. Another reasons to be concerned about technology.
Thanks to technology, mankind is trying to find a way of life on another planet. Our youth have found this matter exciting and they are willing to participate, but living out there, would they be able to observe the same constellations? Of the Scorpion that remind us of Apollo's jealousy and lies; the Lyre, the instrument that Orpheus used to charm Hades to get back his wife, and did not succeed. Perseus, Andromeda, Cepheus, and Cassiopeia are constellations too. Because the gods were happy with Perseus's behavior, he was devoted to the gods forever. The constellation Argo shows the story of Jason. The man who broke faith with his wife and the gods cursed him. All these stories help us to meditate about our behavior and our beliefs, because in these times religion has become controversial. It would not be a surprise if in the near future religion becomes another myth.
The Greeks were a deeply religious people, and they used their myths as a religion, so the Olympian Gods were worshiped for similar reasons. In the story of Bellerophon, a deceitful Queen changed his life by telling lies. The kings that wanted to behead him were afraid of The Furies. King Iobates did not want to offend the god Hermes, so he asked Bellerophon to kill the Chimaera and to achieve other dangerous tasks. Bellerophon accomplished the tasks with courage and modesty with the help of the Goddess Athena. Later, Iobates realized his mistake and married his youngest daughter to Bellerophon and left him the throne of Lycia after his death.
