Fetal Life is Human Life

Though he did not remove the sun while it was in place, he did put into motion actions which kept it from being there. If a man were to kill me in my sleep, I would not be alive tomorrow. He would be responsible for that which will not now happen, but would have. Actions have not only immediate results, but those which affect the future as well. If the progression of on object which will eventually change state is stopped, that which was responsible for stopping the progression must also be responsible for preventing the object in it's later state from existing.
If, upon the contact of a human sperm cell and egg cell and thus the conception of a human zygote, the zygote and, eventually, fetus are allowed to develop normally and development is successful, a human child will be born. This is a fact. It has been proven as many times as there have been people alive. Human development from conception to birth is well taught in schools across this country, and across the world. This is a common knowledge among people. The uninterrupted process of development between conception and birth will result a human being.
It is an obvious jump, then, to the fact that conception will, in an ideal situation, result in a human being. What then, is conception? We know conception to be the moment at which the egg and sperm make physical contact with each other. At this instant in time, the process of human development begins. "Instant" is a word chosen specifically for this statement due to its technical definition. An instant is not a measurable duration of time as is a minute or a second. An instant is a point in time that represents an imagined marker and falls between the infinitely (and thus indefinably) smallest measure of time. To recap, conception is the instant at which human development begins. In this instant, the egg and sperm cease to exist as separate entities and in their union create what is known as a zygote.
