After doing my research I found how interesting, and unique the Day of the Dead has become and been to the Hispanic culture. These customs are always fun and entertaining to research because you their culture is much more diverse than ours. Our customs in the U.S. are those of which many follow, and also the only ones I have truly been around. Días de los Muertos was very eye opening to me. The reason I say this is because I have never really considered death a celebration. I am a believer in God and know where I will go after I die as well as my fellow believers die, but whenever I see someone close to me die I get emotionally attached.
