So people who are looking for a specific ethnicity or religion have the choice to do so. Dr. Warren's commercials make people feel that you are not going to find any one compatible with you just by the normal ways of meeting someone. He even has his grandchildren involved in the commercials. His granddaughter talks to him saying that she has been trying to tell her teacher that she will only find "Mr. Right" on eHarmony. We all know that placing little kids in commercials is one of the easiest way to get people to buy or do things.
Now that I have talked about "the normal" dating site let's talk a little bit about some of the weirder ones out there. The first one I think has some silly commercials is farmersonly.com. If you haven't seen their commercials on TV please take a moment to watch one on youtube. This one of course is self- explanatory. One of their commercials starts off with a guy and his horse on a ranch called Lonely Acres. He drives over to his local little bar and sits down and asks the bartender "where are all the country girls?" The bartender tells him that they are all on farmersonly.com. He pulls out his cell phone and pulls up the app and joins, and out of nowhere there are a bunch of country girls sitting at nearby tables looking in his direction. I attempted to look on their website to see who started it, but I couldn't find that information.
My next favorite one is cougarlife.com. (No it has nothing to do with the animal, for you sick minded freaks out there.) This is for younger guys looking for older women to take care of them. You might call these women "sugar mamas". The way this little commercial manipulates these young boys is an older woman is walking through a bar and walks by a table with a guy and his date. She over hears the girlfriend ask her date to buy her a drink. The "cougar" pushes the young girl out of her seat and sits with the young guy and says to him "how about I buy you a drink".
