             You would, as a citizen in the UK want to prevent your individual food waste since you (due to the media and interests organisations) are aware of the consequences and would want fit in and gain respect from your fellow citizens. .
             Empirical chapter 3, the activists:.
             If the goal of waste activists are to create a better world through the reduction of food waste, and are a large enough group to influence the state in the creation of policies, then positive changes must occur.
             Besides these being hypotheses we find interesting, they will also serve as a working question for each of our empirical chapter. Each of them will throughout the chapter contain an analysis. Furthermore all chapters will be based on a theory we find relevant, which is also the base for stating the hypothesis the way we did. All chapters will also either contain another theory or/and valid empirical material in order for us to either deny or confirm the stated hypothesis.
             Delimitation.
             When doing a quick and brief research on the subject of food waste, many aspects and facts occur. However, we have chosen to write within the three subjects of 'Sociology', 'Planning, Space & Resources (PSR)' and 'Politics'. Our project is mostly focused on sociology, which occurs in all of our three chapters. However, it will be strongest in chapters 1 and 2. In these two chapters we will find out how individual consumers and politicians behave within the subject of food waste. We will also use several theories to support our hypothesis and analyses. The subject Planning, Space and Resources will mostly be prominent in chapter 3, which is about activists, but also in chapter 1 concerning the states. These chapters will also focus on such aspects as aid, deforestation and land use. The subject of Politics will be seen in chapter 3 about the activism. Politics is the least prominent of our three subjects.
