Summary of Endangered Animals

Our vision is to build a future in which people live in harmony with nature. We seek to save a planet, a world of life. Reconciling the needs of human beings and the needs of others that share the Earth, we seek to practice conservation that is humane in the broadest sense. We seek to instill in people everywhere a discriminating, yet unabashed, reverence for nature and to balance that reverence with a profound belief in human possibilities. From the smallest community to the largest multinational organization, we seek to inspire others who can advance the cause of conservation. (World Wildlife Fund [WWF], 2014, p. 1). The goal of the paper is to give a detailed view of five specific endangered species, and how we can ensure a positive outcome with the greatest effort toward bettering the lives of animals we share this earth with. .
All animals on the endangered list don't necessarily have the exact same reason for being there, but there is a common issue that all five of the animals possess. Everything on earth that we experience today has its own impact on how things are in their particular environment. As stated by Lauren Kurpis (2002) on their webpage Why Save?, the endangered animals I have chosen, as well as every animal on the list, deserve to be helped to preserve their population, so that future generations can experience the value of their presence in their habitats (Lauren Kurpis, 2002, p.1). The snowy owl, hippopotamus, duck-billed platypus, manatee, and the orca whale are all on the endangered animal list due to their own extenuating circumstances. To better help preserve the community of these specific animals their lives and current situation must be discussed entirely. To make a dent in the amount of endangered animals there are, we must as a people band together and figure out the correct way to preserve the population of animals such as: the duck-billed platypus, hippopotamus, manatee, orca whale, and snowy owl.
