Method.
While conducting my research on a topic such as endangered animals, I had to be careful about where I looked for and found all my information, therefore, I looked in the most reliable places. First, I looked in the class textbook and read throughout to get a general consensus on each separate class of animals and their individual orders. Many animals are endangered based on certain classifications of some websites and organizations however, others say the opposite. This makes the reliable research much harder to find because you have to be made fully aware of the type of webpage you are reading. Some pages are purely opinion and have no factual information that can be used. Next, I looked in the library for any book that pertained to endangered animals and what makes them all unique. It was a general search done with two keywords such as: endangered animals, hippo, snow owl, manatee, platypus, or orca whale. It was easy to assume from that point if I found the book and read a little bit into it, that the information either was perfect for the topic or it wasn't. From this point I went through and highlighted important information from any reliable webpage information obtained. Subsequently, I made copies of the pages of books that I deemed to be important to the content of the paper and repeated this process. The databases that I looked into in the library were very helpful and I used the same keywords when searching: endangered animals. Full understanding of the topic required reading over the source in more than one medium of research.
