Bree and Lara had both tried out for cheerleading at their high school, even though Bree did not want to do cheerleading anymore because she was sick of it. Lara made the team and Bree didn't, she saw Lara laughing and she looked at her, so Bree thought she was laughing at Bree because she didn't make the team.
Offended and angry, Bree made a fake profile on Facebook as Christian DeWitt. She chose an Abercrombie model for the profile picture and designed him exactly as the kind of boy Lara would like. After she had him friend everyone at school and East River she thought it would be safe to friend Lara. Of course Lara was excited and friended him back because she didn't care she was breaking her mom's "stranger danger" rule. She was pretty quick so Bree started messaging Lara as Christian and flirted with her. When Bree's mom found out that Lara made the team she was angry because Bree had been doing cheerleading since she was young, her mom soon found out what Bree was up to with the Christian profile, she wasn't even mad, she thought it was funny and asked Bree to be Christian for a while, while giving Bree flirting tips. Bree thought it was weird that her mother wasn't mad at her but she didn't care. The next few days she started hinting, as Christen, about going to home coming with Lara at his school and told Lara he loved her. Lara obsessed over it and started picking out dresses so Bree started getting a little harsh. The next day she just had him say "I have to go bye." Lara didn't know what she did wrong and she thought about it a lot. After about a week at school Lara was wearing her cheerleading uniform and talking to all of her new cheerleader friends. Bree thought that should be her on the team, not Lara so she thought to herself, "tonight is the night I'm break up with Lara (as Christian) and break her heart.
When she got home she logged onto Christian's profile and posts on Lara's wall "You're a terrible friend, You're a terrible person, I know you've been checking out dresses for the home coming dance, What makes you think I'd ever ask you out?, I'd never be caught dead at the school dance with a loser like you.
