Donald Trump is a politician, an American businessman and a reality television star. However, he is also a candidate for the Republican nomination for President of the United States in the 2016 election. Aside from his extreme wealth, not much qualifies him for running the country. Some people believe Trump can "make America great again", but are unaware of what he truly stands for. .
Trump has an authoritarian view on government and many of his proposals are unrealistic. Some proposals are simply unjust and impractical, such as his idea to construct a border wall and make Mexico pay for it. Another unfair and unjust proposal would be to ban Muslim immigration. Many believe his harsh ways are going to help get America back on track, but there needs to be a balance between a serious leader and a leader who puts all Americans best interests first. Trump has made immigration a major focus of his campaign and that is why many fear that targeted immigration will only divide our great country. Trump states, "I will end forever the use of the H-1B as a cheap labor program, and institute an absolute requirement to hire American workers first for every visa and immigration program. No exceptions". He also states this will open more jobs for the American people, which many people are in agreement with. While many see limiting the amounts of illegal immigrants as a good thing, people forget about all the positive factors legal immigrants have brought into the country. Trump cannot lead a country by merely relying on a business model. Although, many believe his harshness is necessary to run the country, he is actions and reactions to delicate situations appear extremely childish. .
Trump is ego driven and very easily offended, which causes him to lash out at all his critics in such cruel ways.Trump could be considered a "school-like bully", which is part of the reason his competition is so scarce.
