            This article evaluates the new picture editors that have been created. Many people today are purchasing digital cameras from top of the line cameras to cameras that are only $50 dollars. The problem is no matter the type of camera the people are buying most people are buying photo-editing software to fix the red-eye, image blurs, and everything else that is not perfect in their images. The problem with the software in the past for someone is the $600 for Adobe Photoshop. To most people that is an outrageous price to fix red eye and lighting. Now many companies have come out with cheaper easier to use versions of image fixing programs. .
             The article goes through four new image editors comparing how easy it is to use, how well it works, how much of it is automatic and other in-depth details for the more advanced users. Adobe came out on top with their user-friendlier program Adobe Photoshop Element 2.0 because it was so easy to use, and the amount of automated controls was important to the evaluators. Though most of the programs reviewed all had very good automated correction tools for such things as red eye. .
             The editors also like Jasc Paint Shop Pro 8 it had a lot of power for a great price. There are great features to create complex compositions using the power that the package gives you. But some of the easier and more common things that person would want to get rid of do not have easy access buttons to get rid of them. .
             In conclusion Adobe Photoshop editor came out on top again because it is such a great program and the 2.0 version is very user friendly for a cheaper price. .
