Batman the Real Man

Every little kid has, or had at one time, a favorite superhero. This superhero was more than just a cartoon or a comic book character; it was a person that the child looked up to. Children of all ages stare at the television in pure awe as they watch super humans complete the most impossible tasks ever, and yet they believe that it is all possible. I too went through that stage as a little kid and the superhero that influenced my thoughts was Batman. By watching superhero's on television, many children (including myself), derived a philosophy that these extraordinary people had the basic traits to become a man or woman.
When I saw Batman doing such tasks as beating up five robbers at the same time, it made me feel like I should be able to do that when I got older. To compliment Batman's strength, he was exceptionally intelligent. He ran his own business, and he ran it well. To be able to successfully operate a business one must be extremely bright. Since Batman ran his own business, to me he was as intellectual as a person could get. Batman, or shall I say Bruce Wayne, was smart. Everybody in Gotham City loved Bruce Wayne, and I did too. However, nobody in Gotham City knew what I knew at the time; that Bruce Wayne was no ordinary person, but a superhero on the inside. Bruce Wayne was smart and rich; he had power over the people and over the women. .
To me, the fact that Batman is Bruce Wayne mad him that much better of a superhero. He was clever, so nobody ever found out his secret, and he was smart in the ways he used superhero his abilities. Everything about him was amazing to me. For example, his house was tremendous and he had a butler. Batman's garage was filled with cars and motorcycles, both of which I loved when I was little. He had the ideal life style, or so I thought when I was younger. Batman was the greatest to me and I wanted to be just like him. Bruce had power over the city's economic status, and Batman had the public's approval as well as the police department's.
