The Navy

How much do you know about life in the military?.
When our fore fathers realized the need for home land security they started a militia. With the idea of every capable young man to serve his country. To keep our country free of as many terrorists as possible.
I chose to do my senior project on life in military because that is my future for at least the next 8 years. Life in the military is not as easy as a stroll in the park , but it is a career many people choose for themselves. There are a lot of benefits when it comes to the military. It's a great foundation and it starts you on the path to your future. The military offers excellent job security and teaches you skills like dedication and personal qualities that are appealing to many employers. The military also provides paycheck, plus leaving accommodations, free dinning or food allowances, uniform allowance and full health benefits. When you add it all up, your pay in the military will go a lot further than the same pay at civilian job where your basic needs aren't always covered. The military also, provides retirement pay and even if you don't enlist again you still continue to receive assistance, shopping privileges and health benefits as a military veteran. There are also benefits for the family if you are married with or without children. It offers a great support system and lots of security. The military is also a great way to see the world! You get discounted travel, 30 day paid leave. There's also generous education benefits and if you feel the need you could buy up to $250,000 in life insurance with payments of $20.00. The military offers a lot of things that you couldn't possibly obtain with other jobs. That's why so many choose the military over anything else. The main reason I decided to join the military is so I can give something back to my country and community. Just the great feeling of knowing you are doing something for someone other than yourself.
