As I think about capital punishment, I think about people getting the death penalty for awful crimes they have committed such as murders. I see the death penalty as a form of justice for victim's who were badly murdered. Therefore, I am for the death penalty because it gives justice to everyone who was affected by the criminal.
Life is something that everyone should be able to live fully and enjoy every minute of it. But some people don't get to enjoy their life because someone else takes it away from them. This is when the death penalty comes in. The death penalty gives justice to those people who died under the hand of a killer because no one has the right to take your life away from you. It is everyone's right for them to be able to live and have justice. Just as it says in the Constitution of the United States that there shall be justice and peace for all. This statement isn't just something that people take for granted, it is something that they take to heart and very seriously because it deals with their lives. I know as a citizen of the United States of America that I want all my rights that are available to me and I want to be able to live my life the way I want to. If any person decides to take my life or anyone else's life because they want to then this person deserves the death penalty. Why should someone be able to take a person's life away from them and then be able to live the rest of their live, it seems unfair to me. life in prison is the worst thing anyone could ever have. Well if this were true then why isn't everyone who has a life sentence begging to be killed. Prison today isn't what it should be, it could be a whole lot rougher. Prisoners really don't have anything to worry about. They have a place to live, food to eat, and they have activities to keep they occupied.
