Tomorrow when the war began

Her parents aren't too strict but they try and persuade her from doing things they don't necessarily approve of. She does have a good relationship with her parents though and they trust her to drive the Land Rover. She likes to camp out and doesn't mind getting dirty or doing a bit of hard work. .
             Corrie: She is Ellie's best friend and they like to camp out together. She is going out with Kevin and seems to be a really fun-loving person. .

             Chapter 2 .
             1) As the group goes down to "Satan's Steps" into "Hell", what do they discover? .
             As they are climbing down Satan's steps Corrie discovers a fresh-water spring, with water bubbling over green moss and they all stop to take a drink and splash their faces. While they rest are taking a break Robyn goes exploring and discovers a bridge. .
             Chapter 3 .
             1) In this chapter the group arrive in the place called Hell and set up camp. Describe what each member of the group does once they have set up camp. .
             Ellie-got stuck into cooking two-minute noodles. .
             Homer- Explored a bit. .
             Kevin- Broke branches off a tree and started a fire. .
             Corrie- Sat around the fire talking. .
             Lee- Helped out Ellie with the noodles. .
             Fi- Watched Ellie and Lee cook the noodles, which she had never heard of. .
             Robyn- Sat talking around the fire with Corrie. .
             Chapter 4 .
             1) What did Ellie hear and see that seemed strange to her? .
             Ellie hears an artificial humming noise in the distance. She looks up into the sky and sees and the buzzing turns to a roar and six V-shaped lines of bat-like jets streak through the sky. .
             2) What does Homer tell Ellie that suprises her? .
             Homer asks Ellie what she thinks of Fi, he says that she is really nice and he hopes that she would give him a chance. .
             Chapter 5 .
             1) On their way back to their homes, the group sees six separate fires burning. What was so scary about seeing those fires? .
             At first they don't think anything of the fires because the fires aren't near any of their homes, but Ellie and Lee start to feel a bit worried and a bit wound up because they can't figure out the fires.
