The sky is covered with a blanket of twinkling stars on a Friday night around midnight, as crowds swarm around the modified cars that fill the parking lot at Starbucks. Friday nights have been long awaited and anticipated by those who participate in the illegal speed contests, otherwise known as the "runs", performed by amateur racers. There is very few vacant parking spots available, yet there is still groups of cars entering the parking lot, trying their luck hoping to find an unoccupied space. Anxiety is present on the faces of those who await the directions to the undisclosed location where those amateur racers have a chance to show off their cars as well as their driving skills. As I weave my way through the rows of cars, I notice an unmistakable pattern of cars: that all originate from Honda. I visually categorize those various models of Hondas in the parking lot by their popularity, and in the end, the Honda Civic Coupe, Civic Si, and the S2000 is the dominant cars of the night.
The most prevailing model of Hondas here is the sporty Civic Coupe. Numerous exterior accessories accompany the Coupe. This car comes in a selection of colors that range from Fiji Blue Pearl to Satin Silver Metallic or Nighthawk Black Pearl to Taffeta White. An Aero Kit accentuates the aerodynamic style while adding shape and contour to the Coupe's body. Four 15 inch 5-spoke wheels have the perfect width to match the vehicles requirements to ensure proper clearance between the wheel well and the tires. A Rear-Wing Spoiler is color matched to the original factory specifications to provide a custom finished look. Not only does the Coupe come with several exterior accessories, but it has also has several safety options. The front and rear crush zones provide the driver and passengers protection in severe full frontal and offset frontal impacts. All five seats are equipped with 3-point seat belts.
