American Immigration

Is Immigration hurting America? Some say yes some no its been an ongoing debate in America for many years and no one knows what to do to solve this conflict. America is considered to be the land of the free, for hundreds of years people have been coming here looking for a better life. America is now trying to close its "golden door". Are the immigrants making trouble for the natives? Maybe, but perhaps the immigrants are what make America what it is, the home of the free and the brave. .
Should immigrants be allowed in America? That's a hard question I've lived in America my whole life, but on my mothers side I"m only 3rd generation American. My great-great grandmother came here from Ireland illegally. On my fathers side I have deep roots in relations to someone that signed the Declaration of Independence, and Wild Bill Hitchcock So to say immigration should be stopped is not good of me to say, because with out immigrants I would not be here today. On the other hand America is becoming over crowed and its borders are about to bust. I personally think if the country should keep track of all the death and birth rates and any space left over that many people should be allowed in that year, to avoid over population. I also think the entire world would live in free peace and love, but that will never happen, because if it did we wouldn't have this problem.
With Immigrants coming in every day is our economy being hurt more and more? Schools are over crowded and many Americans are out of jobs, while Immigrants have jobs and welfare. Our culture is changing, and many think it is for the worst. Some think with them taking our jobs and our money their getting a free ride and that the "true Americans" are going to suffer. That the immigrants our taking up our land that the Americans need. It's hard to say what is going to happen.
So Immigrants are taking up space that Americans need. Without the Immigrants who would take the jobs Americans don't want.
