Three Types of Music

"Music speaks what cannot be expressed, soothes the mind and gives it rest, heals the heart and makes it whole, flows from heaven to the soul." The author of this quote was correct in presuming that music is a source for inspiration, expression, and finding cures. Music, though containing different genres, is loved everywhere. Music speaks for itself and the person who listens to it. It has the ability to influence people's attitudes and beliefs and the power to make words heard. Although, there are hundreds of different musical genres, three of them are considered to have caused the greatest impact, rocking and rolling the world by storm. .
The Earliest of the rocking and rolling movement was rock and roll itself. Rock and roll, which began during the late 50's, outraged typical quaint parents, but was instantly worshipped by teens and young adults. As popularity skyrocketed in the US, Rock and roll became instantaneously adored in other parts of the world. It became an icon and symbol of the sixties era and youth. It introduced new beats and sounds, profound lyrics, and innovative styles and fads. The Beatles, one of the main contributors to Rock and roll, were emancipators of the fifties home life and uniformity. Although, many of the Rock and roll bands were blamed with the corruption of the youth, many could be credited for inspiring teens to create their own garage bands, keeping them out of trouble and off the streets on weekend nights. Rock and roll ended the fears of being different. Girls shortened their hemlines, boys grew their hair out, and even despite all the criticism, Rock and roll really made a change for the better. It influenced people to follow their beliefs, voice their opinions, and stand out. Nonetheless, people's continuous efforts to "disband" rock and roll failed. There was no doubt that "rock and roll was here to stay". .
Within the next twenty years, the world would soon be shaken by the explicit lyrics and beats that belonged to an arising genre called Rap.
