When I first walked inside, the sweet aroma of cigars and open alcohol filled my soul with happiness. So far the night couldn't be better, until the waitress came over with 4 shots of Grey Goose original vodka--my favorite drink. Now I had cigarettes, my girl, my drink and great music. We all felt a little weird, knowing exactly which part each of us played, so we drank to break the tension barrier. After about 45 minutes of silence, rarely interrupted by pathetic intents to start an invoking conversation, the alcohol kicked in and the conversations started to flow a little bit better. I tried to gain some ground on Nicole by acting interested in whatever her ugly friend said and, if I say so myself, it worked well. Soon I moved my chair a little closer to hers and we started talking. .
Now, the night was still young and Nicole and I were making some serious eye contact which could have led somewhere, however we didn't want to make our friends feel left out so we started to tell embarrassing stories from our childhood. It made us laugh and most importantly allowed time to pass by until my buddy's blood alcohol level found Michelle attractive. At this point things are reaching the peak for the night, I felt like I had known these people for years and that we reunited one night for the last time. The drinks kept coming. It was a night for vodka followed by Corona and Sam Adams beer. My conversation, as well as thinking skill, was severely impaired by lust and alcohol. Nicole, who is usually the quiet type, began to talk, and talk. She didn't shut up. I wanted her really bad but hated listening to her, so I tuned her out and just started to nod my head in hope that she'll forget what she's talking about. .
At around 3 in the morning things begin to slow down a little as people left from the bar. Now it seemed darker. It was as if the other tables were encased in a dense green and smoke-gray fog.
