             Central Idea: Drugs consume the lives of many adults, teenagers, young children, and babies. Drugs have been introduced into our lives in a number of ways, either by prescription by an accredited doctor, over-the-counter, or on the street.
             Introduction.

             A. There are five drugs that are considered the most widely used today?.

             B. These drugs have a great effect on our society.
             II. Cocaine.
             A. What are the uses of this drug?.
             B. What are the side effects?.
             III. Steroids.
             A. What is this drug prescribed for?.
             B. What are the negative effects of this drug?.
             IV. Marijuana.
             A. What are common names for this drug?.
             B. What are some symptoms of this drug?.
             V. Ecstasy.
             A. What is the duration of the primary effects?.
             B. What is meant by the term "the crash"?.
             VI. Heroin.
             A. There are a lot of health hazards associated with this drug?.
             B. What is the addiction rate and withdrawal symptoms?.
             Body.
             I. A drug is a substance that is intended for some form of relieve of specific condition, or diagnosis. It is usually taken by mouth, injected into the skin, muscle, or blood vessel, or a cavity of the body.
             A. The drugs that are suspected as the most commonly used are Cocaine, Steroids, Marijuana, Ecstasy, and Heroin.
             B. These drugs have a great effect on adults, and children alike.
             1) These drugs have a greater effect on children around the ages of 12 to 17.
             2) There are a number of children that are using the drugs and also a large number of these children are selling the drugs as well.
             II. Cocaine is sometimes used in a legal way.
             A. This drug is used for terminally ill patients to help relieve pain and is not intended to cure the illness. But can be abused by others that do not have a terminal condition, but for their own personal feelings that are not directly related to an illness until getting addicted to this drug.
             B. There are two forms of this drug, which are used.
