Have you ever wondered why so many teens become a statistic every day by becoming pregnant? The answer is this: In this day and age many teenagers. Especially girls believe they are full grown adults even when they are not. The hunger to feel like an adult can be fed in many different ways. When most teenagers think of being an adult they think of having the ability to be in a sexual relationship. Many questions arise during that time. She has to think about what her family will say, what her boyfriend will say, and how she will be able to support this child. Even if she thinks she has it all planned out perfectly it will not always be perfect. Her family might dissown her, her boyfriend might not want any part in raising the baby, and she might not have as much money as she thought. But, why does this happen? Why can teenagers not just say "No, I'm not ready?" It is because of one simple fact. Everyone wants to fit in. No one wants to be an outcast. If your friends do it, so should you.
