Nationalism

 

             Pride in ones nation is imprtant, but the feeling of patriotism should not infringe on others rights, Nationalism is differnet for every person and counrty, it can be good for hom or her or it can be bad. For instance if you were brought up in America how a days you are told to love and cherish your country and do any thing you can for it. The Americans are very nationalistic and this is one of the reasons their country thrives. If you are not patriotic you are seen as a non-American or a trader. Then there is another side of it, if you were brought up in Qubec for instance you were taght and told to love Quebec and you are a Quebecer first and then a Canadian. They see Qubec as a better and superior country to Canada this is thy they wanted to separate from Canada. They thought if they were able to serarate they could help their country flourish. Nationalism brings to any counrty that adopts it great beniftis to their economy as well as their politcal situation. It can also bring great destruction such as war and jealousy and hatered from other countires. Haveing nationalism in ones country will promote and motivate nation to work togather as one to compleate a task. Nationalism also brings a very good economy with it, because the nation has a commmon goal to work for. Aswell their are down sides to nationalism, such as violent out brakes by the people wanting more just like in world war one and aswell world war two. Other down sides are with people that were not born in the country or nation because they are at a disadvatage due to the language barrier as well as the culture barrier. These are some of the many reasons why nationalism has boosted some and destroyed others.
             .
             When people have great love and devotion for their country and our willing to work hard and do what they can to help, so they can help their economy grow. This is the main reason that nationalism works very effectivley to help their nations economy to grow.
