Dreams

Dreams are something most people forget when they wake up, but in this case dreams went a little further then that. The unexpected happened in a few quick seconds. Janie never thought for one moment she could have a special gift. Everything happened so fast that through it all, it will be a life time memory.
It all started on a cool, brisk Saturday afternoon. Janie was hanging out with her friends as usual. They all decided to go to the local park in their neighborhood. Suddenly when they got there it started becoming caliginous. Looking up at the sky, Janie noticed a big black cloud hovering over her. The rain started pouring down, and all of them huddled under a tree.
The wind started picking up and they all started shivering. Looking up, you could see lightning across the sky. Suddenly, lightning came toward them. Janie tried to shift right, but it struck her. She fell to the ground unconscious. Her friends have not a clue what to do, panic. They screamed "call 9-1-1!" Eventually, about 10 minutes later, an ambulance arrived.
Janie was taken to the local hospital about 15 minutes away. When she arrived she was placed in a small, rectangular shaped room. Doctors looked at her, and found nothing wrong to be wrong. The nurses called her parents, and they hastily got there.
The doctors told them that she was going to be fine, just have a few scrapes and bruises. Janie was released, and her parents took her home. It was around 10pm, so she went straight to bed.
While sleeping she had a frightening dream. Her mother was driving on the highway on her way to work. She was slowing down for traffic ahead of her and the person behind her didn't discern her slowing down, so it resulted in them smashing into her. Right when Janie saw her crash, she awoke all sweaty and scared. "It seemed so real "she thought. The rest of the night she slept peacefully, but still having the accident in the back of her mind.
