More and more slaves are being smuggled to the north to give them their freedom. The Southerners are fed up with their slaves being taken away one by one. They all blame one person for this and this person was also a slave before. Her name is Harriet Tubman but she was known as "Moses" during her slave years. .
She is claimed to be the one that single handedly freed approximately 300 slaves. Now the Southerners have a reward for her capture that is up to $40,000. There will be no questions asked if anyone brings her to the Southerners. She is considered to be a potential problem to the Southerners and their money. They need Harriet to be in their custody before they lose even more slaves. .
With many of the South in support of this capture, many have clues that led to the discovery of the path she uses to smuggle slaves to the North. It is called the Underground Railroad and when we went to the railroad ourselves we found some slave living there. It is made up of different houses and underground paths. This is one of the smartest things I've seen a slave plan out. She has the best pathway to slip right through the Southerners and gives the slaves freedom. Because of this Underground Railroad she is successful of freeing up to 300 slaves single handedly.
Now that the Underground Railroad has been discovered, the Southerners already made plans to search it to find out where the passage leads to and if there are any slaves living in it. If they do find any slaves left behind or living in there, they"re planning to make them tell where Harriet Tubman is. The Southerners are doing anything possible to catch Harriet Tubman. They are now one step closer to catching her and saving they society. .
