Then you take the DNA from an adult cell and insert it into the egg, either by fusing the adult cell with the enucleated egg, or by a sophisticated nuclear transfer. You then stimulate the reconstructed egg electrically or chemically and try to make it start to divide and become an embryo. You then use the same process to implant the egg into a surrogate mother that you would use with artificial insemination. (Eibert.
Most of the arguments of genetic engineering are related to genetically engineered humans (clones) and the genetically engineered agriculture. We will talk about the clones later. When a food product is genetically engineered the chemical structure and composition of the plant is changed. The food product usually taste the same, however it is altered to become insect resistant, more nutritious, and longer lasting. Some of the alterations in livestock is also present for the feed is altered thereby making the livestock fatter. .
The argument with this is although the changes are suppose to make it better for humanity is it proven that there is no effect on humans. Just as the livestock is bigger what is to prevent human beings from having changes in their physical or chemical makeup. Without, sufficient test to support this the unknowing individuals have in a sense become sciences "guinea pigs". Now we will enter the cloning aspect of this.
Some supporters of cloning say take the stance that this is from God. In the Book of Genesis in the Bible chapter 1, verse 28, God says, "be fruitful and multiply; and fill the Earth."! Then he continues, "and master it." Also to note, "Though God's miraculous creation of Eve was far from cloning, it is interesting to note in passing that God's own Word says He used Adam's rib-physical bone and tissue - to create Eve (Auerbach)." To these people it shows that God had to clone Adam to create Eve's body structure, which could be argued that biologists and embryologists are only following God's footsteps, and not playing God, but these are just a few people.
