             There were few people who spoke out and shared their thoughts on revolution. However among the few were three marvelous and some strange men. One of the three was Lenin; who was a Marxist; in other words believed in Communism. Lenin later goes on to play a major role in the revolution. Vincent van Gogh was an artist who expressed the ideas of the lower class, and the hardships in society. He did many obscure things in his life such as cutting of his ear in a scuffle. There was also Karl Marx who is the father of Communism; we will learn his ideas later in this outline.
             Stage 2.
             Public Dissatisfaction began with the Shocking incident titled "Bloody Sunday." This day came about during a peaceful rally to announce a petition. The authorities misunderstood the crowd and became very scared; as the crowd marched the authorities became very nervous and fired on the crowd killing many men, woman, and children. From there on after this day became known as "bloody Sunday." The Russian people felt that the Czar would be very understanding and listen to the petition, once the Czar would hear them, he would do everything to help the situation. The Czar may have done so, but the troops had fired on the crowd without the permission of the Czar. After this day, the people of Russia had developed a very cold image and misunderstanding image for the Czar. They then felt that the Czar had no compassion for his people. The people were ignorant of the Fact; the Czar did not order this chaotic act. .
             Stage 3.
             The "October Manifesto" is a perfect example of the third stage of Revolution. On October 13th a crowd of workers (peasants) formed a group, known as a Soviet Council; they were to act as the representatives on behalf of the working people. On August 19th Nicholas II promised the people that he would make a Parliament (Duma). This did not bring about any change, and the people continued to cause havoc. He later went on to issue the "October Manifesto" on October 17.
