Friends

 

             This short story name "Friends" found in a short story book named "Tapestries" is a very interesting story. This story is about a boy and a girl, whom fall in love with each other and don't even know it, later on they both find out that their love is just "puppy love" and that they once again just become friends. .
             Qiaoqiao [Jiow-jiow] the girl had fell in love with Gu Pan [Goo Bun] the boy, before Goo Pan had fell in love with her. This story started off as an exciting day for Qiaoqiao, a new neighbor was moving in and trucks drove into the lot facing her window, she was look out extremely curious to find out who the new neighbor was. And now this is where they meet for the first time. Gu Pan ran up the stairs and bumped into Qiaoqiao, they both introduced themselves and Gu Pan explained that he was running away from nursery school and wasn't afraid what would happen to him. Aunt Ah Bao, Qiaoqiao's maid, was inside the house, and without Qiaoqiao's permission, Gu Pan deiced to just open the door and go inside. Aunt Ah Bao was asking what he was doing in Qiaoqiao's house. Aunt Ah Bao asked Gu Pan to leave, but he insisted to stay, so Aunt Ah Bao decided to go and tell Gu Pan's granny. At this point Qiaoqiao and Gu Pan had decided to play train. As they both brought chairs over Gu Pan had decided for Qiaoqiao that she would be mommy. Qiaoqiao asked, "then who is going to be daddy?" "Might as well be me." Gu Pan replied.
             In this point of time, Gu Pan and Qiaoqiao had already met many times and played with each other, one time they were both playing make-believe cooking and Gu Pan said it was no fun so they decided to do some real cooking, even though that the food was still raw, the rice and vegetables, they still both ate it and told each other that it tasted good. This is the point where they show friendship for each other, caring for each other. Even though the food was raw and didn't taste good at all they both still said it was good, because the both made it, together.
