Jews and Christians both believe in a bible but in different formats and writings. Christians believe in Jesus Christ as their savior and Jews believe that they are the descendants of Abraham. Jews also believe that they have the choice to follow the commandments of God. Christians believe that it is a sin not to follow the commandments of God and when we leave this earth if we have submitted to the will of God we will be with God in his kingdom. Jews believe that they are "the chosen people" and that a Messiah or messenger will come to redeem humans and that the kingdom of Gods will be made on earth. In trying to understand Judaism it is difficult to understand how Judaism, which is one of the world's oldest religions, is still one of the religions that causes it followers much turmoil despite the Jewish belief that they are the "chosen people". If Jews are the chosen people then the questions in mind are why have suffered so much and why is Israel still fighting to maintain freedom for its people and keep land that they claim to be their own. .
Chinese religion is also very different from Christianity. People in China prefer to practice religions that are not are rigid as Christianity and some practice more than one religion. The primary religions in China are Taoism and Confucianism (Buddhism is also practiced). Although there are differences in these two religions both share the principle of harmony in relationships, life and nature. Unlike Christianity there is no belief in God as the creator. There are, however, sacred texts for both Taoism and Confucianism. Many of the teachings of these religions are applied by persons that do not prescribe to these religions. For instance, Confucian teaches that good government is important and leaders should not be chosen because of relationships but on the basis of characteristics of ability and virtue and that the purpose of government should be for the happiness and total welfare of the people.
