Friends

Friendship comes in many different forms, but the most common are acquaintances, temporary, and life long. The long man Dictionary of America English states that a friend is "Someone whom you like very much and enjoy spending time with". This definition leaves out the fact that except for acquaintance, a friend is also someone that sticks by you no matter what and knows you for who you truly are.
The first kinds of friends are the acquaintance type. These are co-worker, fellow churchgoers, group or team members, etc .they are people that one has come to know that is associated with a particular place. They are normally people one has small talk with or focus their conversation with connection to this associated place. They normally do not know you very well personally or much about what goes on in your life. Lastly, they spend time with you not just because they like you, but because both parties are repeatedly in the same place at the same time.
Secondary, the temporary types of friends are those that are in your life for a short period of time in your life. They normally have been with you through one major crisis or change in your life. They will be with you during this time but gradually people change and move on to encounter the next phase in their lives. They like spending time with you because they needed you in their lives during a time of crisis or change the same as you needed them.
Finally, the third types of friends are those that are life long. These friends probably know you better than you know yourself since they have been with you through many good times as well as bad. Over the years a strong bond based on mutual respect, honesty, loyalty, companionship, and love. They are always there for you whenever you need them no matter the distance between you. They always seem to know just the thing to say to make you feel happy and loved. Furthermore, these friends love spending time with you, because of who you've been, who you are, and who you"ll be tomorrow.
