Roman Entertainment

There are 3 main ways of entertainment in Rome, I will be visiting them. The first is the 'Roman Amphitheatre, in which lots of fights happened. The second is the Roman Theatre, they are very big and can hold lots of people. The third is the Roman baths this was probibly the most popular.
I am sat in the stands surrounded by many people maybe even as many as 5 thousand. It's just like were about to watch a concert. Two men are fighting, one has a sword and a daggar, he maust be the gladiator; the other man has only a sheild he maust be a criminal, or is he a slave? This would never happen today. He has just drooped his sheild and raised his index finger on his left hand. The people round me are putting their thums down and shouting iugula (cut his throat) that means he will die. This is horrible, can people be killed today? I am now entering a Roman Theatre. There are loads of people standing round me. The people who are actingare all wearing masks white or brown. They are also wearing togas, gowns, cloaks or tunics. People are all laughing and talkiug. A man is jumping from the roof. I can't watch. He is dead! No-one dies in our theatres today.
I have arrived at the Thermae also knownas the Roman Baths. I, first, am entering the Tempidarium. This room is quite warm it has a pool of warm water in the middle. I have to rub oils in to my body then scrape it off with a Stringil.
The second room I am going into is called th Frigidarium. The Frigidarium is a cold room, this is very different from today. In the middle is a big swimming pool it's freezing cccold, not heated? terrible! .
