Black Hawk Down

It was supposed to be like every other mission before, but this time it was different. The Rangers and Delta Force teams had been training in Mogadishu, Somalia for months. They were ready for some action. They were part of a task force sent in to destroy Mohamed Farrah Aidid and his followers. Aidid was the leader of a terrorist organization that was taking control of the Somali's land. The task forces mission was to infiltrate the compound of Aidid by way of helicopter and capture Aidid along with his high-ranking men. Then they will ride back to the base in an armored convoy. As the Delta's or "D-Boy's" are capturing the people, the Rangers will provide support on the four corners of the building, as well as from the air in Black Hawk helicopters.
The mission started off well. The D-Boys were able to capture the leaders and began loading them into the convoy. That's when things when seriously wrong. One of Aidid's men hit a Black Hawk with an RPG (Rocket Propelled Grenade). The pilots were able to maintain control of the helicopter, but only for a little while. That's when every warning light in the whole cockpit went off. By that time the helicopter began spiraling to the ground and within 20 seconds it violently crashed. The crash killed one of the two pilots and seriously injured the other. The surviving pilot was Chief Mike Goffena. Goffena crawled out of the cockpit and sat against a wall with his .45 mm pistol in his lap. To Goffena's horror he saw a large mob of Adid's men coming his way. By that time the convoy was re-routed to Goffena's position to try to rescue him, but will they get there before it is too late?.
