BUT if you're a big tit guy, you will like them! And if you are a female.you get a ripped black dude without a shirt on.
Technical 7/10: A 7 in the lighting/camera/sound field for such a small slasher movie is REALLY REALLY good. The camera shots really did start getting on my nerves though. It was shot as if the entire movie was done in one take, so the camera is constantly following the characters. The lighting was actually pretty unique at parts giving it a true gameshow-like feel. They also used a ton of colores in the lighting that gave some of the rooms an eerie effect. In relation to the budget, I believe they did a great job with this stuff. Oh yeah, the sound was light, but used effectively. Different songs would play as different slashers came into the picture.that was pretty cool.
Acting 3/10: This is definately the weakest spot of the movie. IT COULD HAVE EASILY BEEN FIXED TOO! The script had WAY too much chatty life stories and not enough slashers! Four out of the five contestants were just plain bad and belong in no budget film for the rest of their careers(which is not necissarily a bad thing.) The one guy that got me going was Kieran Keller as he played the nerdy contestant. The slashers were all REALLY fun to watch though.I just wish they were involved more than they were. The fact that Preacherman was in it the least was NOT good; he was by far my fav! Oh, and finally, the gameshow set/hosts were fantastic; it really was a great way to begin the movie.
Final thoughts: Hey, you get what you pay for. I paid $4 for this movie and I'm glad to have it in my collection now. It is worth a watch if you do not want to think. In other words this is for gorehounds who are not looking for good acting, strong plot, or even scares. This is for those who want to watch 5-6 nice kills and some decent low budget directing.
Final Score: 6.5/10.
