Jen has been my best friend since we were kids.
            
together from braces to high school to marriage and children.  She was always there for .
            
me whenever I needed a shoulder to cry on or and ear to listen.  Jen was the type of .
            
person who was never quick to judge anyone or any situation, she always looked at both .
            
sides keeping a very open mind.  Even though she is gone I still have all the memories and .
            
the pictures of our good times.  I remember doing silly things in high school like toilet .
            
papering peoples houses.  I remember all the crazy things we did in college going to .
            
parties, dating, and just enjoying our youth.  I remember the laughter, the tears, the hard .
            
times, but most of all I remember the love.  The love that Jen had for life and for everyone .
            
in her life.  She will certainly be missed.

	I had the pleasure of working with Jen for over 20 years.  We started out together .
            
in our internship at UCSD Medical center, and we eventually moved our way up th ranks .
            
to be successful surgeons.  Jen had such a passion for life and a passion to help other .
            
people, she often time would remain in the hospital long after her shift was over just to be .
            
there when her patient awoke from surgery making sure he was alright.  She always had .
            
wanted to be a doctor, and she was not going to let anything stop her, Jen worked with .
            
such determination and passion we all knew that she would succeed in anything that she .
            
wanted to do.  Even with the demanding work schedule that she had, Jen never forgot the .
            
birthdays of her co-workers and often time would organize the office to bring in cake or .
