" (Hybrid Cars, 1) This concludes that change is possible among Americans, based on our needs. These visions of a hybrid society are the most important reasons for making hybrid cars, however, there are some additional reasons that might appeal a little more. These other reasons for siding with hybrids include, getting rid of Saddam Hussein and being the envy of the block. The first reason just needs a big, big bomb and that would be taken care of. The other reason is extremely important to the ladies, and it might get you a promotion at the job, well not really, but it sounds good. .
Saying that hybrids will not work is an easy thing to do. To actually prove that statement is harder, but Jimmy Carter gives an example. Shortly after taking office in "77, Carter enacted his National Energy Plan. "Memories of the public's adverse reaction to Carter's conservation initiatives still haunt some lawmakers, who say the Carter experience proves Americans would never accept radical conservation proposals." (CQ Researcher, 84) Looking at some good earthly reasons as to why we need hybrid cars will not make our government say "OK, lets do it". Yes, it would be nice to have that perfect society but there are many rules and regulations that went through more red tape than we could circle this great earth to make the American society that we have right now. And no matter what kind of society is being lived, it is not perfect. The government can look at really good reasons as to why we need hybrid cars but it could take years to implement and by that time, Earth will not have an ozone. "For every visionary, there's a naysayer. The industry will build them because they"re simply better cars. The industry won't build them because they do not produce enough profit." (Motavelli, 198) This is a difficult situation to resolve. .
Reasons not to support hybrid cars are not actually objections to the supporting statements.
