Who Are They

The definition of the transsexual is that the people have a strong and persistent feeling that they are living in the wrong sex. A male transsexual has a need to live as a woman. A female transsexual has a need to live as a man. The clinical term for transsexualism is gender dysphoria, which means that the gender identity enforced by society on the basis of their biological sex at birth is difficult to bear and causes the individual emotional discomfort and stress. There is nothing wrong with these people because people should have the right to do anything they want to do so long as they are not doing harm to another person or another person's property. However, historically, gender roles have been assigned based on their biological sex at birth. This meant a boy was to become a man and a girl was to become a woman. These roles were also specific in how each gender was to live and behave regardless of an individual's true inner feelings. With few historical exceptions, transsexuals found that they were not accepted by society because of these rules. Moreover, they could not truly feel like to be the opposite sex because they are not really a woman or man, even through they do the rearrangement surgery and act in the opposite sex ways. .
First, there are so many lies perpetrated on transsexuals and about transsexuals that it can be extremely difficult to defuse them. Some males who live and present as women want what is called sexual rearrangement surgery, for many of them they believe that this surgery, along with hormones, will make them female. In reality, they become pseudo-females, imperfect imitations of a female. They can convince themselves they are female only with fuzzy thinking that taking female hormones makes them female. A pseudo-vagina makes them female, their desire to have a womb implanted and have a baby makes them females, other women treat them as female therefore they are female, and goodness knows what else.
