Girls Night Out

Marriage will become a necessity sooner in my life and I will only be dating people that I would like to marry because marriage will give me comfort and safety.
I guess being a woman would have its positives and negatives, but very little positives in my opinion. One of the few positive aspects of being a female is an excuse to act snappy one week out of every month. Even though this is a subject I would rather not discuss, it is the only excuse that I know of that won't fade out because women can't think of any other excuse to cover all of their bad days. Now I can be part of this embarrassment and nobody can hold me responsible for anything that I do during this time period. Pregnancy fits right along with this whole period thing. Pregnancy is the first negative thing that I think about when I think of living my new life as a woman. I give a large amount of credit to all of the child-bearing women out there, and I appreciate what they do, but personally I don't want the birth coming from my body. This will definitely cause me to think twice when it comes to having sex and actually having children.
Considering that I am in college, sex is a major issue among my peers, co-workers, and fellow students. I have already experienced my sexual prime as a male college student around the age of 18, and now I get to do it all over again when I hit my mid 30's. This could definitely be a positive experience, and one that most people don't get to go through. One thing that I will learn to do is put my partner first when it comes to sexual intercourse. Our required textbook for class declares that "Many women have been culturally conditioned to put their partner's needs first, so heterosexual women may proceed to intercourse before they are sufficiently aroused to reach climax." (166).
Now for the things that didn't matter yesterday, but scare the living daylights out of me today. Everyone has bad days sometime throughout their life, whether it be from work, your family, the weather or your car.
