Intel Vs. Amd

In the world of computers there are two main companies that come to my mind, one is AMD and the other is Intel when a consumer intendeds to purchase a microprocessors. They alone dominates the computer processor industry ever since I can remember, other companies have come and gone but these two are the ones that have maintained their status. I will be comparing these two companies websites in order to give a non-bias opinion on their general appearance to their consumer market. Even though we all know that AMD is by far better manufacture than Intel, but you don't have to take my word for it.
When opening up the two web pages, the two basically look the same, big logo on the top with a few random pictures of their products scattered across the page. Intel's site is divided into categories that separate their various product markets, such as home computing, business computing, communications, and reseller options. This all looks normal except for the reseller options, but with closer investigation I realized that there was just a listing of their authorized sellers of their products. Other links give you are merely options to view information about the company; such as, listing jobs, press information about company, research and development of new products, and a unique Intel museum. The over all site was very user friendly, or rather designed to accommodate for people who don't know how to maneuver around a site. What I am getting at is everything is layered out nicely and seems to be more playful approach. The color scheme is a royal blue, which gives the over all feel of the site a very calming and non-aggressive feel to it. The layout is done in a logical fashion, meaning that the links and paths to the information are where you would expect them to be, abiding by the general format of a website. .
AMD's site seemed much more professional than the Intel homepage, since AMD doesn't develop as many products as Intel.
