Coca-Cola Corporation

.
This is the area, -staffing- that will be the object of this section of our research on Coca-Cola Corporation. When dealing with staffing, the first thought to come into mind is employment opportunity. To have a perspective view on Coca-Cola staffing, one must reflect on its Leadership declaration posted on its website about its principles, which says:.
"The heart and soul of our enterprise has always been our people. Over the past century, Coca-Cola has led our successes by living and working with consistent set of values. While the world and our business will continue to change rapidly, respecting these values will continue to be essential to our long-term success.""(Coca-Cola Leadership 2002).
This is the principle upon which, the corporation's Human Resources pertaining to staffing is founded. And according to Pendergrast, "It also really promotes good causes through philanthropy, support of minority programs, educational innovations, and relief aid in troubled countries. As Doug Ivester has said, "It's the right thing to do, and it's very right for business too.""' (Pendergrast 2000. p.468).
So, in our review, we will try to do the right thing too, by touching upon Coca-Cola career planning and development, its various means of recruitment, its methods of assessing and selecting and most importantly, its strong position on diversification.
             DIVERSITY/EQUAL OPPORTUNITY.
For Coca-Cola, diversity is the most important element, which guides any other concern, pertaining to staffing. And this assertion is summed up in its Equal Opportunity Employment Policy, found in its website and which states this: (Coca-Cola Enterprise CA.Leadership.).
"Coca-Cola Enterprises is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
