.
             l. The following 4 illustrations of talk work together as these situations show how the use of both sides of the brain can compliment each other during a decision-making process. .
Thumbs Down to Valley Lo: .
             8. anyways(.) so we were?n't real happy with Valley L?o (.).
In line 8 of my transcript, reflected above, it revealed a type of descriptive talk that is considered an ideal example of using the right side of the brain in a thought process. H began this portion of our conversation by using emotion as she described her negative intake of a restaurant interviewed for the surprise wedding. .
             12. J: yeh,It was very restrictive= .
The restaurant subject inspired energy in my sister J to maintain a natural flowing conversation between the 2 of them. As I show above in line 12 copied from the transcript, J used an analytical term "restrictive-, reflecting her thoughts. To utilize the term "restrictive- as her evaluation of the disliked restaurant, this illustrated how J was able to look at the whole picture and dissect it into divisions, thus exercising her logical thought to come up with her conclusion. This type of explanatory talk is considered, in the Biological Theory, as left brain activity. .
             Thumbs Up to The Doubletree:.
             50. H: =they have an incredibly beautiful atriumarea where they.
             have (.) .
             51. eventsyou said? (2)it was r?eally beautiful.
             56. H: It was, it.
             57. was((cough))very fabulous.I think you would like this place.
             al?ot.
Further evaluation of our conversation revealed H using the right side of her brain in her assessment of the The Doubletree, as she was convincing me of its value in creating a magnificent persona for a wedding party. Throughout lines 50-57, in the transcript and reflected above, not only did H use those fuzzy feeling words (i.e. incredible, beautiful, fabulous) but emphasized those words as important facets to her decision-making process, again leaning toward right lobe mannerisms.
