Dracula

The story "Dracula" is fictional but there are some circumstances if some person believes in vampires or not. But this book was made out to be fictional by Francis Ford Capolla. This is the first story that I read that is very fictional as it deals with the supernatural and religion. There is an inevitable struggle between the forces of good and evil and it has a very interesting plot that's supported through belief in religion and supernatural beings. It makes the story more entertaining as it touches the readers" imaginative mind into this world of mystic beings or bloodthirsty demons. The realism is there and everyone acts very true to life. They act like normal people but when unexplained events happen then there's nothing you can really do but be engaged in this book of fantasy and horror. The action can sometimes drag a bit and I find myself being off track in some parts because it is a very long book. But the plot was very interesting and serves an excellent mystery I yearn to solve. The climax is probably when Jonathan the main protagonist kills Dracula. I think the story ends appropriately as it has a much deeper meaning and you understand the whole plot. It's all unclear at the moment because you get the prologue but it all adds up to a spectacular ending.
The story takes place in Europe near Romania and the Carpathian mountains. The enigmatic Transylvania sets an eerie mood that kept my lights on in my room during the night. It takes place during the early 1800 in the European countries. The details for the settings are really descriptive and makes you so glued too the book. As my recent history with horror and especially the Dracula bandwagon I enjoyed it very much. It's Capolla style that makes it wonderful and it puts you right in there with the characters. The dark mysterious Carpathian Mountains and the Counts castle was just a big descriptive picture in my head that I couldn't let the imagery go away.
