            " A boy names Steve Harmon who is a 16 years old. Accused of acing as lookout for a drugstore robbery in which the owner was killed. As the trial progresses, Steve contemplates spending the rest of his life behind bars. .
             In my opinion that Steve is not guilty, because Steve didn't his friend James is going kill him and rob him the same time. When Steve went in side of the store he didn't see any one else in the drugstore then when he came out he didn't even give any sign to James and Boa. James and Boa just think everything was clear to go in because Steve didn't any sign to them, but Steve didn't know what was he suppose to do. Then Steve leaves the drugstore and then he didn't know what happen next after he got stuff that he need for his film project. He's a good student, who's shown promise in his filmmaking class and also he has a stable and loving family. .
             The criminal justice system, the person has his own attorney and there is also a Dedicated Prosecutor. They have to fight each other about the case to win. There is juries are the people that listen to the both side and decide who win the case. There is also a judge and he is the one who has the power and the judge listens to the case that is happening in the court and then he decide what to do with the person after the juries decide and stuff like that.
             The criminal justice systems work for certain people because when the witnesses tell their story and sometimes they are telling the true and the other time is a lie. In the book when people were given an testimonies and people would blame another person to just to save themselves from getting in the jail or trying to get out of the jail. When someone did something bad they have face what they get. They went to see other people didn't do any thing wrong to go in the jail s they can be free. .
             There is other system in this novel. There is a medicine system and it connects to the criminal justice system because, they rob the drugstore to get some earning from do it.
