            "On Tuesday morning, September 11, 2001, American Airlines Flight 11 took off from Logan Airport Boston, Massachusetts. The Boeing 767 departed at 7:45 on what was to be a regularly routed trip from Boston to Los Angeles, California. It carried 91 passengers, nine flight attendants, and two pilots. At some point after takeoff the plane was hijacked. Although the actual events that took place within the airliner are unknown, it is suspected that the five hijackers took control of the plane, and at 8:48 AM, they deliberately crashed it into the North Tower of the World Trade Center between the 84th and 85th floors." If you were anywhere on this day, this is all you heard all day on all news stations, radios, and in peoples conversations. Everyone could not hardly believe what had just happened, everyone in the country was very devastated, shocked and confused as to why it happened. Why would some one do this to the United States? It was a sad day in every part of the United States.
             Do you know where you were September 11, 2001? I sure do. I can remember it like it was yesterday. I was in my sophomore year of high school and that morning we were taking the ASVAB test. It started right when we got to school and didn't leave the auditorium until time for lunch, so we had no idea what was going on. When we got out and all of our classmates were telling us about it, I was going ballistic. My mother, brother, and a good friend of my mothers took a two week vacation to go to New York City and surrounding areas. I had talked to her two nights before and she was telling me how wonderful New York City was and how she spent all day walking around the city. So, to my knowledge she was still in New York City when the terrorists attacked. I don"t think I have been more frightened in my life than I was that moment. I .
             was in the office of my high school the whole day trying to contact my mom. My calls to her cell phone would not go through, so of course, I was about to lose it.
