Love portrayed in Midsummer Night

Of the many characters in the story, "Midsummer's Night Dream", there were many loves present between them. The four main characters of the dominant loves in the story were: Lysander, Demetrius, Helena and Hermia. Although the loves between Demetrius and Hermia, and Helena and Demerits were not mutual, they were still legitimate because true love does not need to be legitimate. There were illegitimate loves in the story. One of the more controversial loves is probably the love between Helena and Demetrius. .
This was unlike the other loves in the novel in the fact that complete love was not mutual, yet it still was present. What I am talking about is the "love" Demetrius had for Helena. It is quite that obvious she loved him completely, but he hated the fact that she loved him so much. During one of their conversation Helena told Demetrius that she could not live without him. To the contrary, Demetrius told her that he could not stand to look at her face. What emotion was shown in that scene; because of such things that Helena, Demetrius almost felt obligated to love her back. She loved him so much, but he had nothing but anger to give back. For this is the reason why he wanted to put the love portion of the fairies over his eyes so that he could love her back. .
Without doubt can it be seen that the fact that he even contemplated such a thing shows that he had love for her. For, who would go to such extreme measures to please someone else? This wasn't necessarily true love, but it still was love. This compared to the love between Hermia and Lysander was not the same. This is so because the love between those to was true: they both loved each other completely.
Later on in the story, the fairies had an accident when they put the love portion over Demetrius and Lysander's eyes. During this period of time Lysander and Demetrius, both love Helena because she was the first one after they woke up.
