A Loaded Gun

What Is It about Americans and Guns?.
Gun related deaths are what bring people to hatred with, firearms, these beautifully handcrafted pieces many call art. It is a shame that government officials are forcing laws prohibiting the ownership of guns because some individuals are tempted to gain control or try to answer their own personal tribulations. I feel the author of this passage, Leonard Kriegel, first solidifies his stand on gun control when he is belittled at a visitation or gathering at a friends home.
Mr. Kriegel's first up close disliking, I believe, of inappropriate gun use occurs when he is visiting in New Mexico. The host and his boy started for their shotguns as they heard the rumble of engines owned by disliked Chililians most likely stealing wood from nearby forests. The boy then remarked, "We"ll get"em yet, Pop, I swear it," holding the guns drawn in the air. The boy meant they would hurt or even kill other human beings, these ones of Hispanic decent. Then, after looking at the man angrily, his shotgun had found its way in front of Mr. Kriegel. The whole meaning had not set in yet, but three weeks later it did when the same person abruptly cut him off at a gas station. .
Seeing how rude and unkind people can act when they feel in power was a different story. One that had not yet came to Mr. Kriegel's attention, but at that instance, I think he had found the concrete proof leading to his stand on guns today. .
