Some software will come manually installed on the computer and others will need to be installed by a disk. Not only is the software the brains of the computer system, but it also controls what the computer can and cannot do. Network security is the most important part of computer networking. Most of today's computers are installed with both an anti-virus and a firewall. However, if the computer does not come with both items, it should at least have an anti-virus preinstalled. Security is so important to keep the computer from being hacked into by other people and allowing accessibility to important information that is on the computer or network. For example, several people in today's society have online banking or credit card access that might allow a hacker access to banking account or credit card numbers.
