Mars for Sale

Mars is the Fourth planet from the Sun and also the third largest terrestrial planet in our Solar System with a diameter of 6,792km which is roughly half of Earth's. Mars also gets its reddish appearance from Iron Oxide (or rust) in its soil. It has an almost constant view of at least one of its two moons Phobos and Deimos. Phobos is quite small with a radius of 21km and is only 9,380km from Mars but Deimos on the other hand has only a 12km radius and is 23,460km away from Mars. Mars also has a variety of other exciting features such as volcanoes, craters and dry channels once made by water.
Living on Mars will be easy once the BioDome is built. The BioDome will have an artificial atmosphere but will still let the positive aspects of Mars's atmosphere in. Because Mars's atmosphere is made up of 95% Carbon Dioxide there will be lots of trees planted in the BioDome. Also, heaters will be placed everywhere as the summer temperature on Mars rarely gets above 0°C. The BioDome will also need to be gravitated and pressurised as Mars's gravity is 0.4 of Earths and its pressure is 0.007 of Earths. It will also protect you when global dust storms occur. If you are sick of birthdays coming so quickly this is the place for you as one Mars year is 687 Earth days!.
On Mars water is either gas (vapour) or Solid (ice) so machines will be made to melt part of the ice caps to supply water. Transport to and from Mars will be via the Global Surveyor which is launched from Cape Canaveral, Florida. Planned launches are every 26 months and are in 1998, 2001, 2003 and 2005. .
