Graduation speech

I have been given the privilege of being this year's class valedictorian. The New Amsterdam Multilateral High School has played a very important part of my life. This was the school that I had aimed to attend since I was a mere child, and fortunately, I was given the esteem task of gaining my wide spanned knowledge inside these many walls. Despite the many rough days and long periods, I will always cherish and remember each and every day that I have spent here. .
This wonderful institution has given us some of the best opportunities the world has to offer. Apart from the many academic achievements, extra curriculum activities have always played an enormous part in each student's life. Sports, quizzes and tours were always the excitement. I can always remember the wonderful times we had on each occasion. Screaming and cheering at the top of our lungs was one of those. Getting sunburned as your house won the championship; retreating to the cool shade of the pavilion and sharing a cool beverage with friends; I will always cherish.
In spite of this, I have gained something that I shall forever cherish, friendship. My social life in multi has given me some of the best friends I could ever find. After all, shared experiences can always bring people together. Sitting in the cafeteria at lunch chatting about movies, the latest news and the opposite sex were a few of many discussions. However, the thing that brought us together the most were the problems we shared together. We always had each other to turn to when the days got rough. Even though some of us were lacking behind in studies, there were those who stood by us until we had finished the problem. For those, I am truly grateful. Together we each learned the value of friendship, side by side. On the contrary, we each worked head to head in academics. .
This school has prepared us for the outside world by instilling in us discipline and self-esteem.
