Who is Jesus

There are many different opinions about Jesus Christ. Some say He was just a man or one of the great prophets of old. According to Isaiah a prophet of the Old Testament, "Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; behold a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel". Christ was indeed the son of man, conceived and born of a human mother. He went through the different stages of life just as we do. Jesus was subject to the ordinary laws of human life; he was hungry and ate, he was weary and rested, he was sorrowful and wept, he suffered and dies. In all things he behaved as a man. .
According to the Gospel of Saint Matthew, Simon Peter confessed that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God. In many scriptures throughout the New Testament God reveal Jesus as His beloved son. In the Gospel of Luke after John the Baptist baptized Jesus, God declares to Jesus thou are my beloved son, in thee I am well pleased. Saint John declares in the fourth Gospel that the, "Word was made flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father". He is a divine being who became flesh. Jesus was in the beginning with God, he was the creator of all, the author of life. .
Jesus Christ mission to the world is to reconcile lost man back to God. In the second book of Corinthians it states that all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ. He is the suffering servant who died to ransom the people from their sins. Jesus Christ is the savior of all mankind.
