Bowling

This report will cover material learned from the bowling film. Among the things that will be discussed throughout this report, three main points will be focused on. The first is arm swing, second finishing position and the third is wrist position.
Arm swing is a very important to the effectiveness of your bowling. .
First part to working on your arm swing is to keep your forearm squared up with the target. The next part is the amount of tempo used when swinging your arm. If you swing your arm to slow you will lose ball speed. If you swing your arm to fast you can cause yourself to become off balance. You want to keep the tempo not to fast but not to slow.
In bowling you must end in a correct finishing position in order to bowl your best. There should be a fifteen-degree tilt from the knee to the ankle. You do not want your head and shoulders out to far or you will lose balance. When you end your position your head should be at twelve o"clock, your hand at eleven o"clock, and your foot at five o"clock.
There are three types of wrist positions in bowling. To use a broken wrist your thumb should be out in front of your fingers. To use a strait wrist your fingers and thumb should be even. A strait wrist is for medium power on your shot. The third wrist position is the cupped wrist. To use this, cup your hand under the ball this will allow maximum turn and roll, and should be used by stronger bowlers.
